7:45 pm – Grace and Sara arrive at Newark airport exactly 2 hours and 55 minutes early for their flight. Sara wonders why they left for the airport so early. Grace reminds her that last time she traveled she went to the wrong airport and almost missed her flight to Israel. The crew enters the airport.

7:47 pm — Realizing they have gone to the wrong level, Grace and Sara make their way to the escalator. Sara proceeds to trip and drop her bag which falls all the way down making a loud noise that Grace finds very embarrassing.

7:50 pm— Grace and Sara find the check-in. Sara proceeds to proclaim to the gate agent in a very loud voice that she was concerned that the airline did not exist when she bought the plain tickets (because who has heard of level air??). Grace tries to hide in the corner.

7:55 pm— Grace tries to take a full water bottle through security. The TSA agent says that she will have to chug it. Grace obliges as Sara laughs.

8:10 pm— The crew makes it to the gate exactly 2 hours and 30 minutes early. On the way Sara looks at perfume. Grace notes that the bottles have pretty shapes. Sara reminds her that the shape of the bottle is not the point.

8:12 pm — Grace updates the rest of the Thursday night home backing crew on the far that they have made it to the gate. Nathan immediately responds in all caps. Sara begins the process of setting up the word press blog. Sara spends 5 minutes ensuring that that blog is specifically Princeton Orange. Grace notes that it is very hot. Sara announces the blog needs a tagline. Grace suggests making it something in Hebrew. Sara proceeds to google what appears to Grace to be some random Hebrew words before identifying their tagline. While excited, Grace reminds Sara that it is still very hot. Sara suggests that it may be due to the government shut down.

8:32 pm — Jake responds in the group message. Not once, but twice.

8:45 pm — Grace proudly shows Sara her bag of snacks. Sara is not impressed.

8:50 pm — Sara instructs Grace to begin writing the blog. Grace dutifully obliges.

9:00 pm – Feeling that her snacks were insufficient, Grace buys more snacks. Sara emails a pre-frosh.

9:10 pm – Grace’s mom (Sarah Vogelsberg) sends Grace pictures of the journal she wrote on her first trip to Paris. Grace notices early allusions to her current blog.

9:24 pm – Sara sleeps on Grace’s shoulder. Grace is still very hot.

9:26 pm — Realizing that they have been blogging for many minutes, Grace proposes they take a break for the night. Sara allows it.
